As many of you know, I started Shoes4Grades to give back and empower the community’s youth to achieve their educational aspirations—all while they earn a new pair of shoes in the process. However, as the need grows, so do we as an organization. In order for us to further our impact, we have decided to expand our services by opening a Shoes4Grades Center.
By opening a Center, Shoes4Grades will be able to target more students and provide onsite one-to-one tutoring, college readiness courses, career development training, financial literacy, employment readiness, Health & Life Skills, and independent living skills training. The S4G Center will include fourteen individual workstations, one large boardroom, a kitchen area to host cooking lessons, and a shoe wall where participants can select their new pair.
