My name is Randall Trice, Executive Director and Founder of Shoes4Grades (S4G). I’m a former foster youth who decided to take advantage of my situation and use it as fuel to become the best person that I could be and create my own story, despite the stigma of how others expected me to fail. I pushed my way through high school to not only graduate but to continue my education. I received my Associate’s degree from Pasadena City College and was not satisfied just there, I wanted to continue my education and received my Bachelor’s and Master’s in social work from Azusa Pacific University. At a young age, I knew how valuable an education could be for myself, my children, and those I have the ability to reach through my story and my outcomes.

Shoes4Grades is a unique program geared towards improving students’ grades by motivating children to excel in school, enjoy the learning experience, and become life-long learners by incentivizing students with a pair of name-brand shoes for their hard work in the classroom.

Why do we do this?

Simple: many can agree that the power of having a new pair of shoes is like no other. S4G would like to give that gift to as many students as possible. Our goal is to equip 500 to 700 students within our first year. We are already at 236 students thanks to donors.

You can make a difference by donating a new pair of shoes in any size to help us reach our goal!
