Shakiyla is currently obtaining her Bachelors of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development at California State University, Northridge. Throughout her educational journey, Shakiyla’s passion for providing quality care for young children has grown. She has a passion for supporting younger children during their crucial periods as they develop their emotional, social, and educational skills, and is devoted to offering diversity and opportunities for students’ individual growth.

Shakiyla has an abundance of experience working with early childhood ranging from infants to age five and finds seeing the progress of her students and building relationships with their families the most rewarding.
