Sunshine is a bright and eager mind hoping to help make a difference in the community, no matter how small or how big it may be.

She was a mentor before transitioning roles and is currently studying to become an archivist and historian, acknowledging the importance of history’s impact on the present.

“My eighth-grade history teacher Mr. Crawford once said, ‘History is important. It explains why the world is the way it is today,’ and that’s always stuck with me.”

Many have said Sunshine tries her hardest to help brighten people’s days when she can, hoping she can make them smile and is always the first to help strangers feel welcome with an open hand of friendship.
